Change seems to be the only thing that is constant for the field these days . While change signals evolution and progress, it also requires adaptabilit y and rapid learning. New Hampshire's substance use disorder field is under going rapid evolution. Medicaid Managed Care is evolving once again to acco mmodate a third MCO and substantial changes to current MCO contracts. Payme nt methods for services are increasingly being tied to performance and outc omes, and the state is transforming its delivery of behavioral health servi ces through Doorways, Hubs, and Integrated Delivery Networks. In addition t o service delivery changes, attitudes around syringe exchange programs and marijuana use and access are evolving as well. Providers across the continu um need to remain informed and ready to respond to these changes and fully understand the impacts they have on the prevention and treatment of substan ce use disorder. This mixed model training, facilitated by Abby Shockley, w ill provide participants with a lay of the land for prevention, treatment a nd recovery services in New Hampshire followed by an interactive discussion with key stakeholders around managed care and payment transformation, emer ging trends in the continuum of care, and opportunities to leverage ever-in creasing resources to address substance use.
